Novabraid
TRAP CORD (Bungee Cord) is specifically designed for the demands of
the lobster and crab fishery. Used for door closures and other components,
Novabraid Trap Cord, is available in two cover styles. Our standard
Polyester cover is white with black and teal markers. Multifilament
polypropylene covers are also available in a variety of bright colors
and camo. Stock MFP colors are orange with black markers and black with
orange markers. Both cover styles are braided over our premium round
white latex core
strands yielding 85% to 100% stretch even when subjected to freezing
conditions.
LASH IT
Samson LASH IT Designed to meet the various strength, stretch, knot-holding and wear requirements of integrated trawl net sections or seine net designs. Made from HMPE fiber, this twine yields the highest strength, lightest weight, lowest stretch and longest wear life available. The proprietary urethane coating, Samthane, adds to the twine's wear life, ensures the knot holding capability of the twine, and gives the twine its distinctive grey color.
ZING-IT
Samson ZING-IT™ Offers extremely high strength, for pulling down 'hangers'. Samthane urethane coating allows the line to glide over rough bark while providing excellent abrasion resistance. The exceptional low stretch allows greater control. Achieve higher throws with lighter weight. Best used with 8 to 10 once throwing weigh tand may be used for hand-throwing or with mechanical systems. Store hand tended in a bucket or bag, do not coil.
Novabraid BLENDTEC-12 is a hollow braided 12 strand polyester/polyolefin dual fiber rope. It is designed with single or two ply construction depending upon nominal size. The two yarns are blended in a veneering process to wrap the polyester around the olefin fiber.
Novabraid SPECTEC-12™ is a hollow braided 12-strand rope using 100% Spectra fiber. It is designed with single ply construction up to 11/2” nominal size and two ply in larger diameters. Spectec-12 yields one of the highest strength to weight ratios available in a synthetic rope.
Novabraid NOVA SHOCK is our premium grade shock cord. Unlike hardware variety shock cord, Nova Shock is braided with color fast solution dyed polyester cover yarns for superior protection against abrasion and ultra-violet light. The core is comprised of parallel strands of round latex rubber yielding 85% to 100% elongation and recovery even after exposure to freezing conditions.

Available in long continuous lengths, it was originally designed as a pulling rope for electric utilities but has many other marine and industrial applications.
