Samson 3-STRAND PTS-3 NYLON Premium, three-strand Type 6 nylon rope heat-set by our exclusive Thermo-Set process. This process coats the rope with our Samthane urethane coating and heat-sets the fibers, bonding them to create working firmness and extending wear life. This process imparts the following characteristics: + Low shrinkage -- less than 1% + Excellent energy absorption - total strength of 35% at 75% of break strength and 42% at full strength. + Improved spliceability - no helicoptering of rope ends. + Long wear life Medium Lay.

Samson STATIC ROPE A firm body flexible kernmantle construction designed to meet the demands of rescue, rappelling and specialty rigging operations. Static rope is designed to meet or exceed NFPA 1983 standards. Specific Gravity: 1.24. Colors: White, Yellow, Black, Red, Orange and Blue. Not Spliceable. Specific Gravity: 1.24
